I’m helping raise money for Krabbe UK, therefore I'm willing to make a fool of myself for the campaign

Krabbe disease, also known as globoid cell leukodystrophy, is a rare, inherited genetic disorder that affects the nervous system and the myelin that protects nerve cells.

It's a type of lysosomal storage disorder (LSD) called a sphingolipidosis, caused by mutations in the GALC gene.

This results in a deficiency of the enzyme galactocerebrosidase (GALC), which breaks down fats using water molecules.

I have family members that were/are affected by this, some of you may remember Eva Rose who sadly lost her life to this tragic debilitating disease.

Eva's younger sister... Aliza was also diagnosed with the same disease but is thriving now and is full of beans, she had to have Bone Marrow Treatment, this in turn gave the enzymes she needs to live a healthy life am is now up to all sorts of mischief. 🤣
