Starting from the 12th May I will begin my journey to complete 84 miles of walking/trekking across the Isle of Wight. My mother was 84 when she passed away last October so I aim to cover 1 mile for every year of her life, within 52 hours. My age was 52 at the time of her passing. My mother suffered from Dementia for 4 years. The care, support she received should not go unnoticed, so I’m determined to repay my thanks in this unique way, and hopefully raise as much money as I can. My route is made and during the walk I will visit all significant land marks that would have meant something to mum during her life.

The last 26 miles of my journey will be completed by participating in the famous “walk the Wight” on the Isle of Wight. All within the 52 hours.
