50 Mile North East Stadium Run · 13 July 2024

The Bradley Lowery foundation has been set up in memory of the late Bradley Lowery. The foundation will help raise raise funds for medical treatment or equipment not available on the NHS.

Story

The Bradley Lowery foundation has been set up to help families who need to fund raise for treatment or equipment, not available on the NHS. They will also support families through their fundraising campaign in order to help achieve their targets. They offer not only support, but grants where eligible.

To help raise money for them I will be running 50 miles between the three biggest football stadiums in the North East, starting at the Riverside in Middlesbrough, up to the Stadium of Light in Sunderland, and then onto St James' Park in Newcastle.

I'm planning on doing this over this year's Euros 2024 final weekend on Saturday 13th July (which coincidentally is also my 31st birthday). I'm hoping with it being that weekend specifically, the fact it covers the three biggest football clubs in the North East, and the charity's connections to the footballing community, we can really bring that football supporting spirit and raise some much needed funds for this incredible charity.
