A fabulous group of our Pharmacists from the Antrim Ballymena GP Federation have volunteered to take part in the Relay Team of this year's Belfast Marathon on 4th May 2025. They have chosen to run in support of the Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke.

Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke's (NICHS) vision is a healthy Northern Ireland free from all chest, heart and stroke illnesses. They work with people of all ages across the country, delivering vital care and prevention services, supporting ground-breaking research and campaigning for change. Today, as many as 470,000 people in Northern Ireland are living with a chest, heart or stroke conditions and the NICHS are committed to supporting them.

Joanne, Emma, Heather, Emma and Lucie have chosen to give back to this amazing charity because they understand the impact these conditions can have on families. Recently, one of their colleagues experienced stroke within their family, and both Joanne and Heather have parents affected by stroke. This personal connection inspires their drive and determination to make a difference.
