Story
Last July, we came together as a community for our Palestine appeal, and by the mercy of Allah, we managed to raise just under £2,000. Those funds helped provide urgent aid and relief to families in need — a reminder of how powerful it is when we unite for a good cause.
This time, we’re turning our efforts towards The Gambia, one of the poorest countries in the world. Many communities there struggle daily with limited access to clean water, food, and safe places to pray.
Our mission is simple but deeply meaningful:
Build a mosque for a local community so they have a place of worship and unity.
Deliver essentials like food packs, clean water, and hygiene items to families in need.
Every donation — no matter how small — brings us closer to changing lives. £1 can feed someone for a day, and £10 can help lay the foundation for a mosque that will serve generations to come.
What we learned from our Palestine appeal is that when people give with sincerity, Allah puts immense barakah in it. Let’s carry that same energy, passion, and unity into Project Gambia — to create something lasting, something that continues to benefit others long after we’re gone.
Together, we can build more than walls — we can build hope, faith, and a better future.
🕌 Please provide us with details of the donation weather it is sadqah or lillah or zakaat
