In June 2024, the 80th anniversary of D-Day, I participated in the Big Battlefield Bike Ride 2024, a charity cycle ride from Sainte Mere Eglise in Normandy, across the Normandy Beaches and into Paris. It was an incredible experience for me personally and one that enabled me to raise over £4,500 for Help for Heroes.

I have been so touched by the impact that Help for Heroes has on people that I've been inspired to do this once more, in June 2025, cycling from London to the Rheine in Germany to commemorate 80 years since V.E. Day, and to honour what our heroes from that time did for our freedom and liberty today.
