Rory Runs the London Marathon for Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice

Rory Gillett is raising money for Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age every year, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.

Story

Chestnut Tree House is a children’s charity providing hospice care and community support for children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions.

Hundreds of children and young people in your local community are unlikely to reach adulthood. And even more parents and family members who need care, help and support on their journey, as they don't know how long they will have together.

Your support helps families to spend time together. Precious moments that give a lifetime of memories.

My niece, Nellie, has a terminal progressive brain disease (MLD) and goes to this hospice. The bond she has with her hospice nurse, Emma, is extraordinary. The events the hospice put on and the support and care my sister and her partner received from Emma helped guide them during this heartbreaking time. We want to give back, as without these donations, they can’t continue doing all their amazing work.

Thank you.
