Rosi and her friend, Sophie, are taking on an extraordinary challenge — climbing Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) before dawn, making the demanding ascent in darkness so they can reach the summit as the sun rises. They are aiming to raise £2,000 to fund a life-changing piece of equipment for the residents at Strode Park House: a Neater Eater Manual Assistive Feeding Device.

The Neater Eater is an innovative device designed to help people with conditions such as cerebral palsy and multiple sclerosis gain greater independence at mealtimes. By enabling residents to feed themselves through their own movements, it can help build confidence, encourage social interaction, and make eating a more enjoyable and empowering experience.

For many of the residents at Strode Park House, the simple act of eating independently can make a huge difference to their daily life. The Neater Eater, along with its accessories, costs £2,466, and Rosi and Sophie are determined to help make this possible by taking on the challenge of reaching the summit of Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) by sunrise.
