Why I'm Raising Money

Animals have always been at the heart of my life. Whether it's the unconditional love of a dog or the quiet companionship of a cat, I've always believed that animals make us better humans, and that every single one of them deserves safety, care, and a loving home.

Battersea has been giving vulnerable animals exactly that for over 160 years. They never turn an animal away. They work tirelessly behind the scenes, rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming thousands of dogs and cats every year, and they do it with a level of care and compassion that I deeply admire.

In September 2026, I'll be taking on a 15km Tough Mudder course, crawling through mud, scaling walls, and pushing my body to its limits, because if those animals can face uncertainty and still come out the other side with love to give, the least I can do is get a bit muddy for them.

I'm doing this through my business, S2 Plumbing and Gas Limited, because I believe businesses should stand for something beyond the bottom line. This cause is personal to me, and every pound raised goes directly to Battersea to help more animals find the safety and love they deserve.
