Story
Our beautiful daughter Caitlin died on 31st October 2020 aged just 13, due to covid 19.
In the lead upto her 18th birthday last year we held 18 fundraising events in her name raising £29,630 for 2 charities she would have loved but but more importantly advocating for those who are grieving and ensuring Caitlins memory lives on.
This year we are raising money again for Farms For City Children by participating in the Wolf Run. A 10k course with around 30 obstacles.
We will also be holding another fundraising day ( information to follow).
Farms for City Children offers a transformative experience for children and young people to access an immersive farm residential and become farmers for a week, with rewards that last long after they have returned home. During a five-day school or group visit to one of the stunning farms in Devon, Gloucestershire or Pembrokeshire, children and young people thrive. The holistic programme enhances learning, nurtures wellbeing and builds transferable skills as our young farmers grow lasting connections with food, farming and each other.
