Story
In memory of my Nanny Doll and Grandad Ern, I applied for a charity place with Dementia UK so I could raise some much-needed funds for this amazing charity.
Sadly, dementia affects far too many families. We've lost loved ones to this cruel disease, and I also have friends who are watching their own families go through it. I've seen first-hand the heartbreak it causes, not only for the person living with dementia but also for the people who love and care for them.
In April 2027, I'll be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon. After completing the London Marathon in 2026, I know I can do it, but it certainly won't be easy. I'm still dealing with an injury, so this will be a real challenge. However, knowing that every mile I run is helping to support people affected by dementia will keep me going.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference. Thank you so much for your support—it truly means the world to me. ❤️
