Story
Last year, I crossed the finish line of my first full marathon and a 40-mile ultra—moments that showed me what’s possible with persistence, resilience, and a bit of courage. This year, I’m pushing even further. On the 20th of June, I’ll be taking on the North Yorkshire Ultra Challenge: 100km of hills, trails, and everything in between.
This challenge is about more than just distance. It’s about pushing through adversity. My training hasn’t been smooth—injuries have interrupted my progress, and I can’t honestly say I know I’ll make it all the way. But that’s exactly why I’m taking it on—because it is a challenge.
I’m using this opportunity to raise money for MAGPAS Air Ambulance, an incredible charity that provides lifesaving emergency care across our region. Last year alone, MAGPAS crews attended numerous incidents in March and the surrounding areas, bringing advanced critical care directly to those who needed it most. Their work can mean the difference between life and death, and they rely heavily on donations to keep going.
By supporting this fundraiser, you’re not just backing my 100km challenge—you’re helping ensure that MAGPAS can continue to be there for our local community when it matters most.
Thank you for being part of the journey and for supporting such a vital cause. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference.
