In memory of my mum, and to help support Salisbury Hospice, I have decided to take on the challenge of the Thames Path 50km Ultra on Saturday 13 September. I will be doing a mixture of jogging and walking to complete the distance - this will require a fair bit of training to make sure my back will be ok!

After receiving a shock cancer diagnosis on 13 August, my mum sadly passed away peacefully in Salisbury Hospice on 14 September 2024.

As a family, we wouldn't have been able to cope without the kindness and support from Salisbury Hospice who provided much needed assistance, caring for mum at home and then at the hospice during her final week. The hospice were also there for us after her passing providing bereavement support.
