Story
Hi, my name is Sean Price. I’m a self-employed gardener with a real passion for nature and its healing power. I also volunteer every Tuesday at Primrose Hospice, working alongside a fantastic team who provide essential care and support to patients and their families.
Over the years, I’ve faced many personal challenges — including the ongoing journey of being a single parent. That experience has shaped who I am today: someone who understands how important it is to have support, community, and a safe space to heal. It’s one of the reasons why the work done at Primrose Hospice means so much to me.
Through my volunteering, I was lucky enough to help create the St. Godwald’s Retreat Show Garden at the RHS Malvern Spring Show, working with Marc and Darryl from F B & Sons Lawns and Landscapes. Their beautiful garden now lives on at Primrose Hospice, offering a peaceful sanctuary for reflection, healing, and connection with nature.
Having struggled with loss and severe mental health issues myself, I truly believe in the power of green spaces and community care. Primrose Hospice offers both — with compassion and dignity — to those facing illness, loss, and grief.
To support this vital work, I’m taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge: 24 miles, 3 mountains, and over 1,600m of ascent — all in under 8 hours. Every step I take is for those who rely on the hospice’s care, and every donation helps them continue their incredible work.
If you’re able to give or share this page, thank you. Your support means more than you know 💚
