Story
Back in 2009 my mum had a stroke. It affected her greatly in every aspect of her life, but with the support of our family and the Stroke Association she worked on continuing with life and working hard to recover.
I do these annual charity streams now as a thank you to the charity that supported my mum and our family as a whole through a scary time.
Watch me live on the 7th of November, I will be streaming live from 10AM on the 7th, to 10AM on the 8th. The entire event will be shown on my Twitch channel: https://www.twitch.tv/statikkillers
Any donations, no matter how big or small will go to a great cause and support others who are affected with strokes both personally or for family members.
GOALS:
If we hit my £500 target I will shave off my facial hair, if we SOMEHOW reach £1000 I will wax my legs as well...
For every £50 donated I will spin a wheel with a load of challenges on it, if someone donates £50 by themselves, they may suggest a new challenge to be added to the wheel!
When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.
