Hi, my name is Stephen Cameron, and I have set myself a challenge to raise as much money as possible for the North Devon Hospice, in my mums memory, who we lost in November 2023, the hospice were incredible with giving mum what she wanted, the opportunity to spend her final days at home surrounded by her loved ones, their support was priceless and we owe the entire Hospice team an awful lot.

I aim to run the entire south west coast path from Poole in Dorset, 630+ miles All the way round Dorset, Devon and Cornwall and finish in Minehead in somerset 15/16 days later.

On Saturday the 3rd of May I will set off early from Poole at the south west coast path start point,

I will have to cover around 40/45 miles a day, With my partner Leyana, supporting me in a hired camper van and meeting me at a few points each day to resupply and encourage me. And then meet me at my finish point each day to eat/sleep and try to recover for the next day.

The van is booked, The dates are set, and my training has started.

As a seasoned ultra runner now, I couldn’t just ask people to sponsor me for any of my usual races, it had to be something that will push me outside of all of my comfort zones! It will be the biggest challenge I have faced, so I’m hoping it will inspire people to donate to this great cause!

Hopefully it will be one hell of an adventure
