After five intense days of cycling, covering 454km through stunning scenery and challenging off-road terrain, our group of 36 riders finally made it across Tanzania, from the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro to the Indian Ocean coastline.

Along the way there were some falls, injuries, aches and pains and a few tears but I’m immensely proud of our group for making it to the end and for the money we are going to raise for Transaid.

On the final day of the challenge, we visited one of the many projects Transaid supports and saw first-hand how the funds raised are making a real difference to road safety and healthcare in local communities.

So from me and my fellow cyclists we’d like to say a huge thank you for your support.
