Local DJ Steve Descher is taking on an incredible 24-Hour Non-Stop DJ-A-Thon to raise funds for St Richard's Hospice.

Taking place from 2pm on Saturday, 2nd May to 2pm on Sunday, 3rd May at The Feathers Sport & Music Lounge, the event will see Steve play continuous Motown, Northern Soul and Disco Classics from the 70’s and 80’s in a bid to raise as much money as possible during 24 hours for the charity.

Rather than taking on a traditional fundraising challenge, Steve decided to use his passion for DJing to give back to the community, creating an uplifting event while supporting a cause close to his heart. The challenge is deeply personal. Steve chose to support St Richard’s Hospice after his brother received compassionate care there before he passed away, and I know how much it meant to him.
