Steven's fundraiser for Tourettes Action

Surrey Half Marathon · 22 March 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

Our vision is a world where people with Tourette Syndrome (TS) get the practical support and social acceptance they need to live their lives to the full. We aid their inclusion in education, work, and society throughout their lives, and support research and aim to raise awareness.

Story

On March 22nd, I’ll be running the Surrey Half Marathon to raise money for Tourettes Action, a charity that is very close to my heart.

My stepson, Tommy, is 12 years old and was diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome at the age of 7. Since then, we’ve seen first-hand the daily challenges that come with the condition — not just the tics themselves, but the misunderstandings, lack of awareness, and the impact it can have on confidence and wellbeing. Tommy is an incredible, resilient young lad, and I’m so proud of him.

Tourettes Action provides vital support, resources, and advocacy for people living with Tourette’s and their families. By taking on this half marathon, I hope to raise awareness and contribute to the amazing work they do.

Any donation, big or small, would mean the world and will help make a real difference. Thank you so much for your support.
