Story
I have set myself a series of endurance challenges to support Myeloma UK, culminating in the 100km Gower Peninsula Ultramarathon. The charity supports provides tailored information and support designed to help people with myeloma, their families and their friends live their lives to the full and manage their myeloma. This charity is important personally, as my mother was diagnosed with myeloma in 2025.
The full set of challenges are:
1. House 7 stairs challenge – how many times can I climb the House 7 stairs in 4 hours.
2. A marathon around the triangle on the Malvern College campus. This will be about 145 laps.
3. The Worcestershire Way. A 50km run from Bewdley to Malvern.
4. A 'quadruple Ledder'. Starting from College, I will run the Ledder course 4 times back-to-back.
5. 100km Gower Peninsula Ultramarathon.
These challenges will occur over the next 4 months, with the Ultramarathon in July.
