We are displaying a variety of Christmas lights outside our home on Sparhawk Avenue in Sprowston, between 1700 and 2100 memory of those who fought for our country and those still fighting, my dad, James Bailey was one of those who served in the British Army.

He served in the army as a baker for three years and three months; 2 years were spent in Egypt and 1 year in Khartoum. He was then promoted to the rank of Corporal and was asked back for a further 4 months.

My dad was a hardworking and patriotic man, who always put his country and his family first.

It would mean a lot to me and my family, as it would to my dad if he was still with us, if you could donate.

The big switch on will be the 29th November and fundraising will end on the 4th January 2026
