Story
I’ve somehow persuaded myself to take part in a 10k event on Wimbledon Common this June in support of the Paul Alan Project.
Now, to be clear, I do not enjoy running. At all. It is utter shit.
But over the last few weeks I’ve been trying to get fitter, healthier and prove to myself that I can still do difficult things at over 50 years old. So it seemed sensible to put that effort towards a cause that genuinely matters.
The Paul Alan Project does fantastic work raising awareness around cardiac health, CPR and providing defibrillators in the community to help save lives.
If you’re able to donate, thank you. Every contribution genuinely means a lot and helps support the work they do.
And if nothing else, your donation may help fund the very defibrillator I’ll be looking for somewhere around kilometre 7 on Wimbledon Common.
