Story

Hi I’m Teddy and I’m 11years old. I’m raising money by shaving my head at my school, (Atelier 21), at the business fair in July!

I’m raising money for Chestnut Tree House in remembrance of our dear family friend Daisy Bushnell who was cared for at Chestnut.

Daisy was funny and beautiful and will always be remembered in our hearts.

Chestnut offers end of life care and respite solely for children. It’s a big country house set in beautiful grounds.

Chestnut made it possible for Daisy, her family and close friends to be together with round the clock medical care, offering accommodation and taking away the stresses of normal everyday routines such as cooking and cleaning and in their place offering experiences and time to be with one another making precious memories. The staff there are actual angels on earth where nothing was too much trouble. Chestnut is a positive and happy place to be in times no one wants to experience. They get very little government funding so every donation really does make a difference.

Thanks for listening x
