Story

The Janis Connell Fund, within The Brain Tumour Charity, was set up by myself to raise funds to assist the scientists find a cure for Glioblastoma Tumours for which there is no cure anywhere in the world

This has become a key focus for myself, as I try to do something in Janis' memory but also to raise the profile that something needs to be done to find a cure for this awful illness. I set out to raise £100k across 3 years and my current total is £55k - just over half way. I am determined to reach my target

9 of us will walk the final leg of the Camino de Santiago - the Pilgrims Way - from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela from 3rd to 7th October. We intend to provide daily updates along the walk and maybe describe some of the highs and lows as well as photos of the wonderful sights!

Anyone who can assist by raising money for this cause and donating to the Janis fund, will be making a potential life changing contribution to Glioblastoma sufferers

I will also be personally grateful

Thank you

Ian
