Tim Clayton is running over 60 miles (almost one for every year of his life 😉) in an Ultra Challenge in aid of Eden Valley Hospice & Jigsaw Children’s Hospice in memory of his Grandson, Alfie Reuben Daffin. Alfie passed away aged 12 in May 2025 after being the strongest, bravest & cheekiest little boy who lived with multiple disabilities, but took it all in his stride! For anyone who knew or met Alfie he left a lasting impression & continues to hold a place in many people's hearts. As a family of Mum, Dad & Alfie with his two dogs, they gave Alfie the best life full of love they could & didnt receive much assistance, but Jigsaw supported Alfie and his family in the last year of his life. Their vital support provided short but fun periods of respite for Alfie & in the last year much, needed bereavement support for Chantelle & Richard, when other services failed. To show thanks for their valuable support Tim is running the 100k/62mile Peak District Ultra Challenge in Bakewell on 4th July 2026. The Hospice relies on charity funding to provide the valuable support for Parents during the toughest periods of their's and their precious children's lives, please help us keep this support going for other families and show them our thanks for supporting Alfie. Any donation, however small, is greatly appreciated ❤️
