Story
Hi
Stats say 1 in 2 of us will get some form of cancer in our lifetime.
That there are almost 3.5 million people living with cancer in the UK today, and more than 360,000 are diagnosed every year!
However; what isn’t said is the monumental impact it has on the individual sufferer and their immediate family/ friends. How it turns people’s lives upside down in an instant and continues to do so.
Last autumn a very good friend of mine had such a diagnosis and for this reason I want to raise money for this wonderful charity. As we all need support at such a devastating time in our lives.
On the 26th April 2026 I will be facing my biggest challenge running 26.2 miles in the London marathon. Every time I think this is hurting or getting tough as I train; it is nothing compared with what people with cancer are going through on a daily basis.
So please can you help support me and give what you can as every penny counts.
Thank you in advance 🙏
