Story

Aaron was the most inspirational little boy, loved by so many, with an infectious smile and a cheeky personality to match. Heartbreakingly, he lost his three-year battle to a high-grade brain tumour in April 2023, aged just 7. He was, and remains, our golden superhero. And, with a loyal following of family, friends and supporters, 'Aaron's Army' has been created in his memory.

To honour what would have been Aaron’s 10th birthday, we’re kicking off something truly powerful: the “10 for 10” fundraiser. It’s more than a challenge—it’s a celebration of Aaron’s legacy and a commitment to change. 💜

Aaron’s army have taken on many challenges and fun fundraising events including:

* Fire walking

* 5 mile ‘Walk of hope’

* Sponsored bike ride covering the distance from Buckley to Euro Disney

* Aarons Villain Ball

* Santa float bucket collections

* Christmas card competitions

* ‘Wear it purple’ days and much more.

And this time it’s Max turn to fundraise!

🎮 Starting 19 November, Max will complete a 10 lap race on Gran Turismo every day, for 10 days straight, all while pushing to beat his race time each day.

🏎️Every lap, every second shaved off, and every pound raised will help keep Aaron’s legacy racing forward and support vital work through Brain Tumour Research.

Aaron’s story reminds us that brain tumours affect the young and the bright—and that much more needs to be done. Sadly, brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.🌻
