Last April I decided to go for a run. At that point the most I could manage was 3 minutes with a 90 second walk a few times over. Within 2 months I was able to run a 10k. A couple months after that, I managed a half marathon.

Now it’s the time for the big one, and a LOT of work. London Marathon 2025.

I am running in support of SCOPE.

There are 16 million disabled people in the UK. That’s one in four of us. Life is harder when you’re disabled. You're twice as likely to be unemployed and the cost of living is higher by £1,010* each month. It’s wrong and unacceptable.

Scope’s mission is for disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else.
