Once again Truckfest is very proud to be supporting the MND Association – the largest MND charity in the UK and a global partner in the fight against motor neurone disease.

For the second year, Truckfest has chosen the Association as its Charity of the Year helping to raise vital funds and awareness of a disease which affects 5,000 people in the UK at any one time.

Since last year’s Truckfest, more than 2,000 people will have been told they have MND, a neurological disease which damages nerves and the messages they send to muscles in the body. Within months, a person with MND may lose their voice, be left unable to eat or even move.

There is no cure – yet.

With the generosity of Truckfest, and visitors to the nine action-packed events which are planned across the UK this summer, we’re on the road to a world free from MND.

Money raised from the events will help drive forward important progress in MND research and the support the Association offers to people with MND, their families and carers. By starting a conversation about MND we can make sure no one has to face MND on their own.
