Our mum (Vera) had Alzheimer's for ten years before she sadly died in May 2025. Alzheimer's Society organises events such as the Dementia Cafe, Conisbrough (Doncaster) to support people with dementia and their families.

My dad was able take Vera out for the afternoon and to chat to people with dementia, their carers, family and friends at their friendly and relaxed dementia café.

Alzheimer’s Society work towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
