Story
Hi, my name is Victoria and I’m 9 years old. I’m raising money for CAFOD because I want to help children and families around the world who don’t have the things they need to live safely and happily.
One day at school, we learned about how some people don’t have clean water to drink, safe homes to live in, or enough food to stay healthy. I couldn’t stop thinking about how unfair that felt. I realised that even though I’m only 9, I can still make a difference. I can use my energy, my ideas, and my kindness to help others.
CAFOD works in lots of countries to give people clean water, food, education, and support when things go wrong, like floods or droughts. They help families build better lives, and I want to be part of that.
So I decided to start this fundraiser. Every pound you give will help someone who really needs it. Even small donations can make a big change. Together, we can help children go to school, help families grow food, and help communities stay safe.
Thank you for reading my story and for supporting my fundraiser. It means a lot to me, and it means even more to the people we’re helping.
