Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge 2026 · 13 June 2026 to 14 June 2026 ·

Founded in 2016 by two former serving soldiers, Calum MacLeod and Colin Maclachlan, Who Dares Cares has a team of volunteers committed to supporting our Armed Forces and Blue Light Services personnel, including their families, who are suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Story

Since my first 100km run, almost 7 years ago, when I was a sprightly 28 year old I have been idling, always toying with the idea of another challenge for another great cause.

During, what I can only explain as an early midlife crisis and Kim would rather I didn’t get a motorbike, I am running again but with the addition of carrying 15kg. This time, closer to home, through the beautiful Cotswold countryside.

As I have served for over 17 years I wanted to find a military charity that do an outstanding job. Therefore, I will be undertaking this challenge in aid for Who Dares Cares a UK, charity working with those with PTSD and other mental health illnesses from the Armed Forces and Blue Light Services.

You can find their work at https://www.who-dares-cares.com/

Every contribution will help change lives and provide essential help for those who have bravely served their country. Together we will make a difference and spur me on to reach the 100km - Thank you
