Will's fundraiser for Birmingham Hospice

Will Goodbourn is raising money for Birmingham Hospice
In memory of Jeanne Garner

1 Hour Decathlon · 26 September 2026

Birmingham Hospice offers specialist palliative and end of life care for those with a terminal illness. Whether at home, in the community or at our hospices, we help people live well, with dignity, and make the most of every moment they have left.

Story

In June 2026, my Auntie Jeanne sadly passed away after a long and brave battle with cancer. In her memory, and to help other individuals and their families who are going through very similar situations, I have started a fundraiser to support the hospice in Birmingham who cared for Jeanne in her final days.

I am therefore asking for sponsorship as I prepare for my last athletics competition of the year; the 1 Hour Decathlon, on the 26th September.

Birmingham Hospice's vision is a future where everyone with a life-limiting illness will live and die with dignity and in comfort.

Offering personalised support at home, in local communities or at their two sites, helping people across Birmingham and Sandwell to live well with their illness, right up to the very end of life.
