20 Miles for 20 Years of Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity

Nick Towers is raising money for Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity

20 Mile walk to celebrate 20 years of Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity, from Scarborough to Bridlington · 16 July 2026

We enhance the work of the NHS; supporting the health & wellbeing of our ambulance service colleagues/volunteers and communities across Yorkshire. Help us to deliver community training & tools to save lives: deliver initiatives to improve the lives of vulnerable people & reduce health inequalities.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to sponsor us in walking from Scarborough North bay to Bridlington.

Myself and my crew mate Rachel, who both work for Yorkshire Ambulance out of Wakefield, will be swapping 4 wheels for 2 feet as we venture down the coast visiting 2 of Yorkshires beautiful seaside resorts.

Setting off from Scarborough North Bay at 8am, we will walk in full uniform round the seafront to south bay and then picking up the A165 all the way down to Bridlington before finishing at the harbour.

I have chosen Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity as I am a proud charity champion within the trust. In 2026 Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity celebrates its 20th Birthday. 20 miles for 20 years.

By donating you are helping community projects such as CPR classes, defibrillator awareness, first aid courses, defibrillators in the community along with staff welfare.
