This summer I will be going to Ghana to volunteer. I decided to do this placement because I am a capable human being that has so much to OFFER the world. I will be going to be staying with a host family with basic living standards and helping with further positive development within the community. The money that I raise will NOT be FUNDING my travel, it will be going to International Service to refunding in sending more volunteers to placements all over the world. 

To be more specific, I will be going to Northern Ghana, Tamale where I will be working on the RAINS project the RAINS project has been known to work with reducing child exploitation and labour to assisting farming communities to adapt to climate change. The program also works to improve the lives of deprived communities and sections of society,by working with farmers in setting up a cooperative. It is removing the need for children to be removed from school to work. They also work to reverse the prevalence of teenage pregnancy and STIs through peer education, outreach and support.

I will be leaving on the 15th of June and returning on the 21st of August.
