On the 14th May 2008 a dear friend of mine Vivienne lost her mother Barbara to breast cancer. In the last few weeks of her life she was cared for at the Nightingale House Hospice in Wrexham where the wonderful staff made this terrible time a little easier for her and family.

As the hospice relies heavily on fundraising to continue their good work I will be joining Vivienne on Saturday 28th June 2008 in a ten mile midnight walk, in memory of Barbara and would be very grateful if you would sponsor me. Each donation large or small is very much appreciated in their constant battle to raise the funds they need to help others that find themselves in this dreadful situation.
