After having made the decision to challege myself this year by taking part in a sprint triathalon, I decided that I would like to do it for a very worthy cause - one that has helped Joshie considerably over the past year.
Joshie has been riding weekly at the Wyfold Riding for the Disabled and it has played a significant part in his development and ability to walk. Firstly, when Joshie started riding in May 2008, he was petrified of all animals and now loves horses. But more importantly, when Joshie started riding he was unable to walk unaided. Today he is able to walk unaided on flat ground as far as he chooses (still unstable on bumpy or slopey ground). We are overjoyed with his progress. I would like to give something back to the organisation (and all the volunteers) that have been so kind and caring to Joshie over this time.
