We’re here for the cure. Cure Parkinson’s is working with urgency to find new treatments to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s.

Story

We did it!!

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I ran my first half marathon for Cure Parkinson's. It's an important time for research with a great deal of progress possible if the funding is available.  Since my hubby Paul was diagnosed with Parkinson's I've met such nice people who have the disease so it's great to do something to try and help them.

My running partner for the race was my work mate Debbi Wildman.   Debbi ran  for Spinal Research.  You can see her page at http://www.justgiving.com/runningdebbi

Against all odds the weather was beautiful on Sun 29th March and the run took us 4000+ runners  through the lovely countryside and small villages around Wilmslow.  We were both delighted with our times (Debbi 1hr 51 mins, me 2hrs 13mins 47secs).  The last 2 miles were tough but it was worth it and between us we have raised over £700 for our charities.

A big thank you to everyone who supported us! xxx
