HorseWorld is one of the leading equine charities, rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing horses, ponies and donkeys in need. The majority of animals come to HorseWorld after being abandoned, mistreated, neglected or simply because their owner can no longer care for them.

My personal message:

Today I did a really stupid thing and signed up to race against 19 other people, dressed as pantomime horses, at Bath Race Course on 1st June. I will be racing as Horace the HorseWorld mascot.

Horace's head alone weighs over a stone and I am not expected to survive without injury due to limited visibility. I may also be a shadow of my former self as temperatures inside the suit have been known to reach excessive degrees of heat. Add to that my fitness levels are not what they were in my younger stallion days and I'm sure that I'll come out of this more than a little hoarse!
