Firstly, thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page...

Between the 1st and 23rd of December 2007 I will be taking part in a trans-continental motorcycle expedition that will see me ride from the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France to the beaches of Dakar, Senegal in aid of Cancer Research UK. 

The 5000km route will take my BMW F650GS and I through England, France, Spain, Morocco, the disputed state of 'Western Sahara', Mauritania, Senegal and The Gambia.  Not least of the challenges we are sure to encounter along the way will be a 3 day long off-road crossing of the Sahara Desert!

My Grandpa is a sufferer of Cancer and Leukeamia.  My Gran suffers Lung Cancer and I wish to raise funds for Cancer Research UK to help others like them by funding world class research.
