Thanks for taking the time to visiting the JustGiving page for the Parkinson's Challenge 2011.
A group of people from North and South England have decided to complete a challenge to raise money for Parkinson’s disease during May 2011. The challenge is for each team to cover 2011 miles during that month – the mileage counter can be seen on the home page of our website www.parkinsonschallenge2011.co.uk. It is a very personal challenge for all of the participants, as everyone involved has been affected by Parkinson’s in some way. The catalyst of this challenge is Derelys Campbell, a wife, mother of two, dog-lover, avid painter and Parkinson’s sufferer. It is for her and other people with Parkinson’s that we are all completing this challenge, and we are keen to make more people aware of this debilitating illness.
