We work with churches, individuals and local organisations in communities worldwide, supporting people of all faiths and none to rise out of poverty. We help people survive disasters, deal with the impact of climate change, find shelter from conflict and have a voice in their communities.

Story

Thank you for visiting Parkwood Project Management's fundraising page.

15 members of the Parkwood team will be undertaking the 3 Peaks Challenge on the 14th/15th June 2008. The challenge involves conquering the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales. These are Scarfell Pike (3206 feet), Ben Nevis (4406 feet) and Snowdon (3560 feet). Perhaps foolishly, Parkwood have also set the target of completing the challenge within a 24 hour period!

Through undertaking this challenge, Parkwood will be raising money for our chosen charity, Christian Aid, who work through local organisations to deliver direct, practical benefits, and campaign to challenge the causes of poverty. From providing shelters for battered women in Iraq, to helping people earn a better living from farming their land in Bangladesh, to getting emergency relief to Afghan villages so families don't have to sell their daughters in marriage to help their families survive drought, Christian Aid work wherever the need is greatest, irrespective of religion or race.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor Parkwood. Christian Aid will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please dig deep and sponsor Parkwood online now! Every penny counts.

Many thanks in advance for your donation from the Parkwood team, and more importantly, from the people that benefit from the help and support that Christian Aid provide.
