At the start of August 2009, several members of the Parkwood Leisure Head Office Team set a goal to complete the 3 peaks challenge (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, Snowdon), within 24 hours. Very quickly a team of 12 enthusiastic individuals committed to completing the challenge. Considering some members of the team have never set foot on a Mountain before, this is no easy task and will require hard work and determination from all participating in order to reach our goal.
Exercise regimes are now in full swing and the team are focused and enthused to carry out practice walks in the weeks leading up to the challenge.
To support our challenge, we would be very grateful if you would kindly donate sponsorship. As a company we are committed to supporting Children's Hospice Charities across the UK and have therefore set up a link with Acorns Worcester. All funds raised will therefore go to a very worthwhile charity.
