We campaign, support and fund research to stop people dying of bowel cancer

Story

In a moment of either enthusiasm or madness, not sure which, the ladies of the SMB Parsnip decided to take part in the Great Women's Run 2007, which takes place in the fine city of Sunderland on 17th June 2007.

We recently found out that Ian Porterfield, Sunderland legend and scorer of the goal that won the 1973 FA Cup for Sunderland, had been diagnosed with Intestinal Cancer. This made us decide that we'd like to raise funds for Bowel Cancer UK.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Bowel Cancer UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor the Parsnippers now!

Many thanks for your support.
