The Witching Hour draws ever closer !! I've ran 4 miles in 36 minutes so I'm confident I'll get round in a time that keeps me on track for London 2012.
I'll let you know how I get on.

As most of you know, I've ran in many races over the years but this is a new departure for me as I've never ran for a charity before. Time isn't the biggest objective but I'll be looking to beat an hour. I'll be about three weeks into treatment so I've no idea how feasible that is but...
I was diagnosed with a brain tumour in September - a grade 4 glioma. I started a combined chemo-radio course yesterday at St. James' which runs through until 16th December. During this part, treatment is everyday for about ten minutes, then I go onto a programme where I take chemo tablets for one week in every four. It's only recently licensed and the results to date are very positive.
We don't choose the manner and timing of our encounters with death. What we can do is survive, reflect with friends and wine and say "I can laugh about it now, but at the time it was terrible !"
That's what I'll do.
The Leeds hospitals have been amazing and made a real impact on Lisa and I over the last two months. They deserve all our support in tackling this difficult area.
