On the 4th September Ollys Disco and friends are putting on a party for the people with a diverse soundtrack of electronic music. The parties happening in The Bethnal Green Working Mens Club and will be running from 8:00PM - 2:30AM. Expect some deep, dark, downright dirty house music to make you tap your feet and shake yo body

Heading the line up and playing an exclusive 2 hour set is none other than JOSH TWEEK (magicbag/louche) one half of the finest underground house night in the north, Louche. Recent sets at Lightbox, Digital, and of course Secret Garden Party have warmed Josh up for the intimate setting of Bethnal Green Working Men's club.

Lending able support is Oxford emigré TESLA (lostboyzclub) After moving to Nottingham, Jem began polishing his skills with some of the cities finest DJs. Sets at Take Control and Bangers & Fash landed him a residency at the infamous Lost Boyz Club sharing slots with the likes of Grum, Urchins and Late of the Pier. Coming off the back of a recent set for Friday Night Fist Fight at Catch and a support slot with Boys Noize, Tesla brings influences from a broad taste for disco, house and a smattering of deeper techno.

Rounding up the bill and kicking off the party are residents Olly Murphy and Toby Wareham, AKA Softpaw & SlowTown, with their usual blend of deep house, techno and electronic funk.

We are very proud to offer a unique and unconventional venue for our inaugural party - the Bethnal Green Working Men's Club. Situated in the heart of East London's thriving underground music scene, it's an institution that's run since way back in 1953. Don't expect no lary cockneys and scummy pool tables though. The club has long since been refurbished to become a hot spot for for offbeat art shows by day and small club events by night, and with its dusty old lampshades and camp-as plush red carpets and drapes, it reeks of retro appeal

Of course, we'll be dropping in over the next month to weave our patchworky magic all over the place, and after we're done with our banners, streamers and fairy lights, it'll be a far cry from its humble beginnings in the 50s...

and oh yes ps.... serious prizes for whoever finds the original BANKSY stencil hidden somewhere around the club
