At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Dewey's Readathon is an international blogging event whereby a huge bunch of book-lovers read for 24 hours straight. This year I'm taking part and thought it would be nice to do a little bit for charity on the side.

I'll be blogging and tweeting during the event on 22-23 October 2011 as well as reading my ass off! I would love it if you could donate some money, time or books to my cause, The Alzheimer's Society. Keep an eye on my blog during the readathon to find out more about why I chose this charity.

No amount is too small and remember to Gift Aid it if you're a UK tax payer! I would love it if you would pledge a "Penny Per Page" and commit to donating a mere 1p for each page I read during the 24 hours. I promise I won't cheat!
