Snow joke cycling the length of Britain......but we DID it!!
We completed the "epic" pedal push from Lands End to John O Groats in 10 days arriving at 6.00pm having covered 950 miles in total!
We anticipated pleasant spring weather with a SW wind behind us, the reality being sleet, snow, hail & rain with a biting NE wind for the majority of the way!!
Fortified with bananas, snickers bars, good old Nescafe & we all now have shares in deep heat muscle rub we managed to cover 100 miles a day.
We were greeted at John o Groats on Sunday 13th April all looking much older & thinner!!
