As if the moutains of Vietnam weren't enough, I'm off to tackle the surprisingly steep mountains in the steamy innards of Cuba. This time we're camping so no cold showers and comfy beds to sooth the aching muscles. But this will remind me why I'm doing it. My discomfort is nothing compared to the horrors experienced by prisoners of conscience all over the world.

Amnesty International is a very well known and highly respected charity which campaigns tirelessly for human rights. It suceeds in improving circumstances of captivity and securing releases for prisoners of conscience.
