Story

I’ve decided to take part in arguably the toughest challenge on the planet “Tough Mudder” in aid of Epilepsy Action. What is Tough Mudder I hear you ask? Well, it’s a 12 mile run/Assault course designed by the British military through 30 obstacles, through fire, knee deep mud and ice cold water. This short video sums it up. I’m not doing this for glory or fun, although both sound good. I’m doing this in memory of a 15 year old girl called Felicity Farrell.

Fliss was diagnosed with epilepsy in January 2008 and while coping with this and the pressures of high school and teenage worries led a perfectly normal life. Eight months after she was diagnosed with epilepsy this happy healthy young girl was found dead in her bed by her family. She had suffered a major seizure in her sleep. The family had not been warned about the dangers of epilepsy so it was a complete shock.

We hope to raise money for this great charity and awareness of SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death from Epilepsy) and stop the Farrell Family’s story happening again to others. Thanks for your support and wish me luck, this looks TOUGH!

So please dig deep and donate now.

Here’s a video showing my reasons why
